Payment
- 1. Payment due
The full price is due upon confirmation of the order.
With the exception of amounts paid, which are refunded if the product ordered is unavailable under the conditions set out in Article 3-4 of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, any amount paid in advance towards the price shall bear interest at the statutory rate upon expiry of a period of three months from the date of payment until delivery of the product or, failing that, until the amount paid when placing the order is refunded (French Consumer Code, Art. L. 214 et seq.; former French Consumer Code, Art. L. 131-1).
Payment is made immediately when placing the order, using the payment method selected by the customer. The customer may choose between :
- the secure Paypal payment platform.
- the secure Stripe payment platform for card payments: Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
- the secure Alma payment platform for instalment payments.
- 2. Additional payment
Article L. 121-18 of the Consumer Code (former Consumer Code, Art. L. 114-1)
Before concluding a contract for the sale of goods or the provision of services, the business shall obtain the consumer's express consent to any additional payment added to the price of the main subject matter of the contract. If the additional payment results from the consumer's consent being given by default, that is, in the absence of the consumer's express objection to paid options that they did not request, the consumer may claim a refund of the amounts paid in respect of that additional payment.
Article L. 131-6 of the Consumer Code (former Consumer Code, Art. L. 114-2)
- 3. Failure to pay
If the agreed price is not paid when due, the seller reserves the right either to demand performance of the sale or to terminate the contract by simple registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt and retain the deposit paid when placing the order as compensation.
